- To perform the safe installation, commissioning, systematic inspection, examination, testing and maintenance of the mine mechanical plant and equipment
- Repair any failed mechanical equipment for which you are competent to work on under breakdown conditions back to a safe working condition
- Systematically inspect and test all mechanical equipment to ensure it is maintained in safe working order
- To work to manufacturer’s recommendations on all mechanical equipment and systems
Experience Required:
- Experience of working on Mechanical Systems in a mining, tunneling or heavy industry
- Significant experience in a fitter’s role in an operational environment
- You will need to pass a safety critical medical for this position and there may be other restrictions due to Health and Safety
